SIDESTREAMS (TOURS)Groundswell offers delegates the chance to discover some surprising attractions in this culturally dynamic region. Albury Wodonga is home to the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, HotHouse Theatre, the Albury Regional Art Gallery, Albury Regional Museum and Murray Conservatorium of Music. But there's much more. For interested Groundswellers, local arts and cultural leaders are offering a range of diverse trips as part of the conference Tributaries program. Following a key conference theme of Indigenous arts and cultural practices, members of the local Aboriginal communities will lead a tour to Mount Pilot, an important traditional ceremonial place. Local figures will lead trips to significant arts and cultural destinations such as the Bonegilla Migrant Reception Centre (Australia's first 'Woomera') and the architecturally-acclaimed Thurgoona - a truly intact, landscaped '70s suburb. For those who'd simply like to relax and enjoy the scenery, the PS Cumberoona, a replica of an 1886 paddle steamer which once used to visit Albury, will take delegates on cruises along the Murray River. And for those who may like to relax even more, there's the All Saints Estate tour and wine tasting featuring an 1860 castle and heritage listed Chinese dormitories ... oh, and did we mention the wine tasting? For more information on the Sidestreams program click here. NB. Some tours are not included in the conference price - details TBC. LUNCH CLUB

The company's mission is to promote and enhance the education and cultural development of young people by providing high quality circus training and by producing and touring professional standard contemporary circus performances. Today, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus is an institution of national and international significance. Performers from Flying Fruit Fly Circus will entertain delegates at various conference social events and key company members will contribute to the tributary sessions.
