Salary $80-$85K + car (neg)

Regional Arts NSW seeks a dynamic and suitably experienced individual to be its new Chief Executive Officer.

Regional Arts NSW is the peak body for the arts and cultural development in regional and rural New South Wales and the secretariat for a network of autonomous Regional Arts Boards across the state. Our core activities are advocacy, communications and promotions, research, grants administration and capacity building for the Regional Arts Boards.

The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and heads a small group of Secretariat staff based in the Sydney office.

Primary responsibilities
• Strategic management of the organisation
• Advice to the board of directors
• Advocacy and promotion on behalf of the organisation
• Overseeing existing programs and developing new ones
• Maintaining close relationships with Regional Arts Boards and their staff.
