New Projects & Promotions Support Officer for Eastern Riverina

Kate ChristyKATE CHRISTY has joined the Eastern Riverina Arts Program (ERAP) as the new Regional Arts Support Officer/ Projects & Promotions Co-ordinator.

Originally from Junee, Katey has lived in Wagga for the past ten years and knows the Eastern Riverina region well.

"I'm looking forward to working with local Riverina artists and being a part of the ever-growing arts community in the region, " Katey said.

Prior to taking up this position Katey has been an active participant in the Wagga arts, music and drama scene. She studied Visual Arts at Charles Sturt University, majoring in printmaking, and intends to continue making art and teaching workshops in her spare time. She is also a longstanding member of Wagga’s School of Arts Community Theatre (SOACT).

In her new role at ERAP, Katey will be available to offer support with new project ideas and in the promotion of events in the ERAP e-bulletin.
