Travel assistance for NSW volunteers to attend RAA national conference

The Pacific Edge:
Part conference, part festival – all art!

Regional Arts NSW, through Regional Arts Australia and with funding from the Regional Arts Fund, is offering travel assistance for volunteers in arts and cultural organisations in regional NSW to attend The Pacific Edge, Regional Arts Australia’s National Conference, in Mackay, Queensland from 15 to 17 September 2006.

The conference presents a unique opportunity for regional artists, arts workers and other stakeholders to come together to discuss and debate current issues for arts development in regional, rural and remote Australia.

Applications for Volunteer Travel Assistance close on Friday 7 July 2006 and applicants will be notified in time to register at the Early Bird rate for the Conference (before 24 July 2006).

Funding is limited so it is recommended that, before submitting your application, you contact Sam Chester, Grants Officer, Tel 02 9270 2501 Email sam@regionalartsnsw.com.au.
