Position Vacant: CEO/Regional Arts Development Officer at Arts Northern Rivers

Salary package: up to $80,000 including vehicle

Arts Northern Rivers is seeking an experienced CEO/Regional Arts Development Officer to implement its innovative arts and creative industries development program across the Northern Rivers region, which covers the Byron, Tweed, Ballina, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley and Clarence Valley LGAs.

The peak body for the arts and cultural sector in this region of creative communities, Arts Northern Rivers is one of the thirteen non-profit Regional Arts Boards in the Regional Arts NSW network.

The Officer must have demonstrated experience in arts development and management, a track record of successful funding submissions, and enjoy working with diverse communities and across different art forms.

Answering to a Board and working in a small team, duties include:

Implement arts and creative industries development programs;
Oversee management of 3 rivers Aboriginal Arts Space in Lismore;
Maintain effective relationships with funding bodies, councils and arts organisations in the region;
Broker funding and partnerships and provide support to artists and arts organisations within the region;
Manage all administrative and operational functions of the organisation including finance, personnel and communications.
