MIGRATION HERITAGE TOOLKIT
After working with migrant communities in Albury, Broken Hill and Orange, it became clear to the Migration Heritage Centre of NSW that many wanted to identify, share and preserve their migration heritage but did not know how. So they developed the Migration Heritage Toolkit - a set of guidelines and a package of resources to assist heritage professionals and migrant communities to work together to run heritage identification workshops - to preserve and share the items, places, stories and experiences of importance to these communities. The toolkit is available free on the Migration Heritage Centre website at www.migrationheritage.nsw.gov.au/toolkit. Check it out!
