CREATIVE
VOLUNTEERING - DON'T MISS OUT, PLEASE!
The schedule for the first round of Creative
Volunteering workshops for NSW is out now and courses are starting very
soon in some areas. The feedback from courses already underway in other
states has been fantastic. As one Tasmanian participant said,
That was
t he best workshop I have ever attended .... The rapport, networking,
interaction, I have never experienced at a workshop before to this degree.
I thoroughly recommend the style, content and tutor.
At only $25
per workshop (heavily subsidised by the Commonwealth Government), we hate
to think you might miss out on this wonderful opportunity for your community
organisation to develop the skills and networks that will ensure your
long term success and growth. Check out the Regional Arts NSW website
for everything you need to know (including a registration form). Fast
link from the front page at www.regionalartsnsw.com.au.
INSURANCE - DO
YOU NEED IT?
The NSW Department of Fair Trading no longer requires an organisation
to take out public liability insurance in order to become incorporated.
Does this mean that arts councils and other organisations affiliated with
Regional Arts NSW no longer need to take out insurance? No, it does not.
