town of Albury Wodonga. Funded through the NSW Ministry for the Arts,
Arts Victoria and AlburyCity and operated by HotHouse Theatre, A Month

of new Australian performing arts work. The initiative involves an on-going
residential program that would bring creative teams of writers, actors,

Individuals and organisations are invited to plan an event related to
women and local history to be as part of the program for Women's History

community sectors. The WHM organisers can help publicise your event. To
be part of WHM your event must have an historical aspect and relate to

2006 COMMONWEALTH
GAMES PUBLIC ART PROGRAM - EOIS
As the biggest event Victoria has ever staged, the 2006 Commonwealth Games
will create positive legacies for the State's economy, environment and
community. One of these legacies is a pedestrian bridge from Birrarung
Marr to the MCG, linking some of Melbourne's biggest cultural and sporting
venues. Major Projects Victoria invites expressions of interest from experienced,
qualified artists to help fill the canvas that this important icon will
provide. The commissioned artworks would express the spirit of the Games
and the values of the contemporary Commonwealth of Nations, framed against
our own history and cultural identity. These artworks will be integrated
