True LiveCutting edge jazz, Latin, hip-hop and funk, plus masterclasses and workshops. JUST ADD WATER
Australia's new waterskiing lake, Queensland, 1971. National Archives of Australia: A1500, K28405Until 20 August, Wagga Wagga
Water, and the lack thereof, is the defining element of the Australian landscape. Its uses and abuses have had a crucial role in shaping Australian society. It's been pumped up from below the earth, held in dams, piped over the landscape and even dragged down from the clouds. In the process we have destroyed ecologies, built communities and created a new Australia. Discover the story of our relationship with water in this new interactive exhibition including everything from maps and games to artefacts and objects.
There is even a working toilet in the foyer! At the Museum of the Riverina, Historic Council Chambers site. Tel 02 6926 9655 Website www.wagga.nsw.gov.au/museum.
