Regional Arts Development Officer
Orana Region

A unique opportunity for an energetic and community minded individual, to facilitate
and support community based arts development in Orana region of NSW, comprising
the current local government areas of Dubbo, Narromine, Gilgandra and Warrumbungle
(formerly Coonabarabran and Coolah)
Working with the Orana Arts Board, the position will continue to develop and implement
a regional arts program in consultation with local stakeholders and as defined
by the recently developed Strategic Plan for 2005-2006.
Applicants must demonstrate sound understanding of the issues, practices and processes
of regional arts development and Local Government and possess strong planning,
consultation, administration (including funding) and project development skills.
Regional Arts Development Officer positions in NSW are funded through the NSW
Ministry for the Arts in partnership with Local Government.
Salary
$45,000 per annum + superannuation + a car.
